Ben ThanH Market..
this is where we dig for cheap cheap things to buy in Vietnam..
and we communicate by means of a calculator..

the tourguide bought a packet of these kuehs for us to try..
it is wad they eat during weddings..
it's quite nice and not too sweet...i was busy taking a photo of it while others were eating it..
UNTIL my colleague say he found a BABY COCKROACH inside!!

everywhere u go..these pple will b outside ur coach, along the streets..

trying to sell u stuff..they keep pulling ur shirts, knocking the windows and begging u..

we took a boat ride to a riverside village...

they make and sell peanut coconut candies..in USDOLLARS lo..how expensive!
so i'm took over the chef as he is cooking and softening the candy after mixing..

look!!! the whole board is full of bees!! and we had to put our finger through it to get the honey!

AHHHHHH...so scary!!!

NEXT...we went to visit the famous cathedral..but it was so warm there we just wanted to get to somewhere with A/C!

and the post office...everything is in USD lo...hai..wanto chop us..

den the next day we went to a temple..quite nice..but still it is a temple..ha..

den the Vietnam war with the CuChi Tunnels..

tunnels that the Vietnam pple dig during the war underground to protect themselves..

i think they were really small sized cos we had to couch and bend low when we walk inside..

and they say the holes were alr ENLARGED so we could go in..

it was dark and alittle dirty but i could understand y the Americans cant get in..haha..

these were the traps that the Vietnamese had for the Americans..so scary lo..cruelty on both sides..there are like 10 traps altog..eeyEWWW...

Unit trip to Vietnam
12 sept to 15 sept
we arrived at Ho Chi Minh City on fri morning 9am..
the first stop is the Old Parliament House..

our one and only group photo..46 pple..with juniors, seniors, managers, senior mangers and partners..

welcome to Ho Chi Minh..but it looks like i was the only one excited abt travelling..

mayb the rest was feeling tired cos we had to meet at the airport at 530am..

we bought this packet of green sweets from the roadside stall along the busy and dirty roads..

so i only dare to eat a small little piece of it..it tasted like some 'kueh' and coconut..

inside the Old Paliament House, we took photo with this former president of Vietnam..
the name...err..when i rmb den tell u okae!

me and guo wei posed for this helicopter from the balcony..i was trying to influence them to pose..still trying la..

1st Sept...

Is the 1st day of work at KPMG...
held at fort canning..it's called the LEGENDS..like a country club..

preetty Boring except for the FOOODDDD...

we reach at 8.35am den were told to have breakfast till 10am..
had soon kueh, siew mai and sandwiches..

den 2 hours later..had lunch..
buffet style of salad, mushroom soup, broccoli, beef, curry chicken. beehoon and rice..

den 1.5hr later..had tea time..
More beehoon and sotong balls..

tmr we gonna run amazing race in JEans lor..how cooling...
hai..den all sweaty and dirty, we are going to meet our managing partners in the evening..

i think beetter dun sit too close to them lo..they goonna pass out..

ha..ohhh..and i gonna change my blog skin soon..
the stupid music so irrritating~!

i'm quite excited abt work..
BUT how come no eye candy?
wahhh...canot lidat de lar..need to QC first de lor!
now i have to suffer...not fair..ha..
